Martyn Ingram – MD

Martyn Ingram has been a producer, executive producer and commissioner at the BBC and with Presentable/Zodiak Media. He established Wales&Co early in 2012 with the intention of making the best factual programmes from Wales with the very best producers from Wales.


Ian Durham – Creative Director

Ian has made over 300 documentaries for the BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and S4C as a producer, director, editor, series producer and executive producer; covering everything from current affairs to cookery, and animals to arsonists. 


Derwena Burt – Head of Production

Derwena joined the BBC in 1981, since when she has worked in some of the most demanding roles in TV production, moving from production assistant on live programmes, to production manager and then production executive in BBC Wales’s music department. 
In 2010 Derwena set up Deri Danto, working with independent production companies on post-production paperwork and administration; a role she will continue alongside with her post as Head of Production at Wales & Co.

Sara Allen – Senior Producer

Since working with Wales & Co, Sara has Produced a diverse range of output: from ‘Poet on the Hill’ with Benjamin Zephaniah, to ‘Alfie’s Angels’ with Gareth Thomas and ‘The Welsh Italians’, with Michela Chiappa.

Prior to working with Wales & Co, Sara clocked up a number of Producer / Director and Series Producer credits both in the independent sector and in-house BBC, featuring the likes of Richard Branson, Raymond Blanc and Adrian Chiles.  

Sara is also responsible for Wales & Co’s radio documentary output including ‘Landrover: The Great Welsh Invention’, ‘The Rolls Royce Garage in Snowdonia’ and the returning series ‘Jamie Owen’s Wales’.

Chloe Lewis - Production Co-ordinator

Since starting with Wales & Co as an apprentice in 2013 Chloe has had the opportunity to work on the majority of the television and radio programmes that the company has produced, including The Wales Report, Young, Welsh & Pretty Skint and Alfie’s Angels. 

Christopher J Lewis - Online Editor

Chris joined as an apprentice in 2013, since when he has trained to become Wales & Co’s resident Online Editor. As well as working across all of the company’s TV output, Chris has also gathered credits for Online Editor on a diverse range of other docs from Double Agent’s Richard Harrington: My Grandfather’s War to Tatu Pictures’ Kate Humble: My Welsh Sheepdog’s Tale.

Jo Wynne-Williams - Production Accountant

Jo has been in the TV industry for 20 years. Having previously worked for Zodiak, Modern, and Presentable, Jo joined Wales & Co when we launched four years ago.

Jody Cusack - Director/Camera

Jody is our resident director/camera, and has been with the company since we launched. Working across all of our output from The Wales Report to the single docs and doc series the company produce. His most recent credits include Michela Chiappa’s Welsh Italian Xmas, Alfie’s Angels S01 & 02, and How To Live to Be 100. Jody is also a fully-licensed drone operator.

Olivia Spilsbury - Researcher 

Olivia joined Wales and Co as the office runner in September 2015. Since then she has graduated to work as the researcher and production assistant on Alfie’s Angels S02 and Michela Chiappa’s Welsh Italian Christmas, The Heart of Wales and Jamie Owen’s Sunday Show. Olivia is currently working on Young, Welsh & Pretty Minted, Newyddion Ffug, and Alfie’s Angels S03.
